Is A Second Act Possible For #MeToo Offenders?

It’s a lessen dozens have learned over the past several months, as the #MeToo movement has swept through Hollywood, D.C. and beyond —sexual misconduct can end a career. Now, some are starting to wonder whether they might be able to move back toward the spotlight. Celebrity Chef Mario Batali, who was accused of groping and making drunken propositions to employees, is considering "a second act," as the New York Times put it. So is there a statute of limitations or is this a scarlet letter that disgraced celebrities and politicians should wear for the rest of time?
