As the dark frigid winter days begin to turn to bright Spring nights, it is time to start looking away from deep and robust red wines to lighter, crisp whites. The founder of the Boston Wine School Johnathon Alsop joined Boston Public Radio Thursday to give some of his famous wine recommendations. Alsop suggested an OrgoRkatsiteli 2014. This white wine from the country of Georgia is made with the Rkatsiteli grape and features hints of fresh honey and stone fruit. Alsop paired the wine with a canapé of blue cheese and rose petal jam. The combination received rave reviews from both Jim and Margery.
