The José Mateo Ballet Theatre will be performing their 29th annual production of The Nutcracker at the Stand Theater through December 18th. To celebrate this holiday classic, the founder of the José Mateo Ballet Jose Mate and the actor who plays Mother Ginger in the production John Wilpers joined Boston Public Radio to talk about the ballet and why it has become a seasonal tradition.
