New England took a blow this weekend when beloved New England Patriots Quarterback and local superhero Tom Brady couldn’t play in the Superbowl on Sunday, after the Patriots lost to the Broncos. Yet one Brady fan is still holding out hope for Tom Brady to deliver—this time with a vote for presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.
“I think he’s going to vote for me, 100 percent,” Trump told Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on Boston Public Radio, one day before the New Hampshire Primary. “I think Tom is a great guy, he’s one of the greats, and he’s really a good person, too. He had an article, I think this week in GQ, where he said such nice things about me, so yeah, I think he would definitely vote for me, he’s my friend.”
Trump couldn’t confirm whether Brady could give him a definite confirmation, since he said he hadn’t asked the quarterback. “I haven’t even asked him! I don’t ask anybody to do anything, but he’s a fan like I am of his, we have a great relationship.”
