Catalyst Fund for Journalism
Journalism is at the heart of the GBH mission. The Catalyst Fund for Journalism provides flexible working capital for all of GBH’s journalistic efforts, including FRONTLINE, The World, and GBH News. Gifts to the Fund work to strengthen our original, in-depth investigative reporting on the issues of the day, both locally and nationally, supporting GBH’s reporting across the Commonwealth as we aim to build a broadly informed citizenry.
The Catalyst Fund for Journalism also supports our journalistic partnerships and digital innovations such as a new local-national collaboration with NPR and other member stations, Consider This, the first-ever localized news podcast. And, FRONTLINE, American television’s top long-form news and current affairs series since 1983, which is expanding its reach with new forms of digital-native storytelling that cultivate and deepen trust and engagement with the public.
