Taped by WGBH Forum Network, classicist and modern Greek scholar Therese Sellers visited The Greek Institute in Cambridge to talk about her book, Alpha Is For Anthropos.

Sellers talks about how she first began writing the book - as a series of nursery rhymes for a young boy she was teaching Greek.  She also discusses how the artwork of the book not only reinforces the rhymes and the words, but the themes of Greek artwork in general and how they can be used to teach students Greek culture.

This talk took place on March 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
