Attorney General Maura Healey Says Baker Administration 'Responsible' For RMV Scandal
Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey on Tuesday said that the unfolding scandal at the RMV showed a "serious lack of leadership" at the agency and that “ultimately, [Baker] is responsible” for the crisis. She also spoke to Jim Braude about the three mass shootings in less than two weeks that have left the nation reeling, calling upon Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to take up gun control legislation, and calling President Donald Trump a racist who enabled the threat of white nationalism.

Treating Gun Violence Like A Public Health Problem

Doctors point to the fact that gun violence is not given enough research funding to provide comprehensive data about the problem and successful intervention models, in the same manner as smoking and dangerous driving.

Jim Braude was joined by Dr. Chana Sacks and Dr. Peter Masiakos, both from the new Gun Violence Prevention Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Elizabeth Warren are the top three favorites among Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire — although almost 60% are still open to potentially changing their mind.

Jim Braude was joined by pollster David Paleologos to dive into the numbers and what they might mean for the first-in-the-nation primary and the shape of the Democratic race in general.
