Her interview followed coronavirus breakouts within both the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals.

"There’s a lot of money at stake,” Kusnierek said, reflecting on the path forward for the MLB. "TV revenue, salaries – and just eyeballs. You certainly don’t want this to fail, but this is obviously bringing to light a lot of questions about Major League Baseball’s decision to not go and bubble their league the same way many of the other major sports leagues have."
