As Democrats wrestle internally over policy issues from healthcare, to college tuition, to whether to pursue impeachment against the president, the direction of the party will not be determined only by leaders on Capitol Hill. The Democratic Governor’s Association will also play a key role as it helps determine the party’s priorities at the state level.
