The Dynamic Power Of Women’s Anger
If this past year in politics has taught us anything, it's that women are not marching into the upcoming midterms quietly. Spurred by the election of Donald Trump, and more recently the rise of the Me Too movement, women’s political energy could shift the balance of Congressional power. What impact with women’s anger have? Jim Braude was joined by Rebecca Traister, author of the new book, "Good and Mad: How Women’s Anger is Reshaping America."

A Greater Opportunity For Workers With Disabilities
Massachusetts' low unemployment rate is making it a good time to find a job. But for employers, it's making for a tougher time finding talented workers. As Tina Martin reports, the result is a growing opportunity for people whose skills are sometimes overlooked.

Taking Their Immigration Pleas To The Pope
Just a few months after the Trump administration was forced to halt its family separation policy, thousands more children are expected to be separated from their parents — away from the border. They are the children of more than 300,000 immigrants living in the U.S. under Temporary Protected Status, or TPS, a program that has long given deportation protection to people fleeing violence or environmental disasters in their countries of origin. Over the past year, however, the Trump administration has started revoking the protections for people from six of those countries: Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Nepal, Sudan and El Salvador. More than 6,000 TPS recipients live in Massachusetts from El Salvador alone. Earlier this month, a federal judge put the administration's actions on hold — but if they're allowed to resume, the recipients will have until next year to leave the country, or face deportation.

Last week, a group of 11 children of TPS recipients traveled to Rome to take their case to Pope Francis, asking him to intervene. Jim Braude was joined by Kevin Palma and Lisbeth Landaverde, who were among the group, and Kevin's father, Jose — who came to the U.S. from El Salvador in 1998 and is a TPS recipient.

IMHO: Families Still Separated With No End In Sight
Jim Braude shares his thoughts on the Trump administration’s unconscionable continued separation of children at the border — which they may consider increasing.
