The New York Times is reviewing the work of reporter Ali Watkins, whose communications were seized by the federal government in February as part of an ongoing leaking investigation. Watkins did not tell the Times about the seizure until last week. Watkins previously had a relationship with then-Senate Intelligence Committee Aide James Wolfe, which she did disclose to the Times. Wolfe has since pleaded not guilty to charges that he lied to the FBI about his contact with Watkins and three other journalists.
