U.S. President Donald Trump meets with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Sentosa Island, in Singapore, on Tuesday. Trump had previously condemned the cruelty of North Korea’s government, but after the historic summit he seemed to play down the severity of human rights violations in North Korea.
