The New England Conservatory is presenting a Veterans Day concert on Tuesday, conducted by veterans and active duty New England Conservatory alumni.

Lt. Joel Borrelli-Boudreau of the Navy Band North East, Major Rafael Toro-Quiñones from the Air Force Heritage of America Band, and retired Senior Master Sergeant and Air Force Reservist William Drury joined Boston Public Radio on Monday to preview the concert and discuss the role of music in the armed forces.

"We have a massive footprint across the nation which supports all of our armed forces, and it really tells the servicemen's stories," said Borrelli-Boudreau.

The three of them will conduct the show, which is free and open to the public, on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Jordan Hall of the New England Conservatory. More information can be found here.
