A Rhode Island man is in hot water after TSA agents at Logan airport found a loaded gun in his carry-on luggage last night.

A TSA spokesman says this is the ninth time this year agents at Logan had to call state police because a passenger had a loaded gun in their carry-on luggage.

The male passenger was supposed to board a Jet Blue flight to Las Vegas. Instead, the police cited him. The man will face state charges and possibly thousands of dollars in civil penalties. No explanation was given for why the gun was in the bag.
