Construction is booming in Boston, and the demand for skilled workers is sky-high. But the supply of local laborers with these invaluable skills is surprisingly low. The Compliance Mentor Group’s Construction Mentor Program is hoping to close that gap by introducing young, diverse and experienced workers into the Bay State’s construction sector. Callie Crossley sits down with the founder of the program, plus two students involved with the program, to discuss the importance of ushering in a new generation of laborers into this rapidly growing industry.
