Is North Korea Really Willing To Talk Denuclearization?

A glimmer of hope came out of the Korean peninsula this week when a delegation from the South announced that Northern leader Kim Jong Un was open to talking to the U.S. about denuclearization. U.S. officials have been a mix of cautiously optimistic and all-out skeptical, but if true, it would be a real breakthrough for the White House. So do we have reason to believe that North Korea is ready for a thaw, despite previous efforts? And does President Donald Trump deserve any credit for his bullish foreign policy tactics?
