“My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

Even after all these years, this quote from John F. Kennedy’s inauguration speech still captures a verve and imagination that not many other presidents have been able to inspire.

May 29 will mark the 100th birthday of John F. Kennedy. In his short presidency, he was able to accomplish and be remembered for more than many presidents who have served a full two terms. His centennial is being celebrated all across the country and these days, his presence is everywhere in Boston. Harvard Historian Nancy Koehn Joined Boston Public Radio to expand on how JFK led in times of crisis and his legacy.
