Next Wednesday at 3 p.m., we're continuing our five-part Facebook Live series on transportation, Next Stop, where WGBH News' Bob Seay, Director of Transportation for Massachusetts, Chris Dempsey, State Senator and Chairperson of the Joint Committee on Transportation, Joseph Boncore and Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu will be talking traffic, congestion taxes and how we can get more cars off the road. Do you sit in traffic on your daily commute? If so, this show is for you.
Boston Public Radio is on hand Tuesday with in studio guests Trenni Kusnierek, Corby Kummer, Michael Zeldin and Brian O'Donovan and Friday with Emily Rooney, Callie Crossley, Shirley Leung, Andy Inhatko and the lead actors in Huntington Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet: Lily Santiago and George Hampe.
Ever wonder how climate change influenced past rainfall patterns? NOVA's CafeSci will be returning to the BPL studio on Tuesday, March 19th from 7-8:30 p.m. where they'll be examining how scientists reconstruct ancient changes in rainfall by studying lakes and caves. NovaCafeSci is a monthly event exploring science and technology held in the relaxed setting of our WGBH studio and the Newsfeed Café. Even better, it’s FREE.
