Become a volunteer!

Volunteer opportunities for our radio pledge drives are available to groups of volunteers as well as individuals, space permitting.

Responsibilities:
> Answer incoming calls from WCAI supporters, using a basic script
> Enter information into a computer database (if you’re unfamiliar with computers we can provide training or you can simply record information using paper and pen)

Qualifications:
> Ability to speak loudly and clearly over the telephone
> Ability to hear callers over the telephone with ease
> Familiarity with using a laptop computer (optional)
> Experience with basic data entry(optional)
> Age 16 and up (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
> Friendly disposition (required!)
> Interest in meeting other volunteers excited about WCAI and public radio (required!)
