Vern I have a question. I have lived at my present address in Harwich for 12 years. The other day I and my indoor cat watched as there was a commotion out in the back. Large birds swooping up into the trees and I could not see them properly but they looked like Turkeys? Wild turkeys dont fly do they? The weird thing is just moments into the commotion a lone coyote came sauntering through. About fifteen minutes later crows came in, screamed for about a minute then I heard and saw most of the turkeys?, perhaps 5 or 6 in total jump down into the back foliage and heard nothing further.
