WGBH Studio Tours

Go behind the scenes for a free, 45–minute tour of WGBH's new all–digital studios at One Guest Street in Boston's Brighton neighborhood, and get an up–close look at what makes WGBH "crackle with creativity," to quote The New York Times. Find us on Twitter and Facebook.

All tours are docent-led and are offered at WGBH, One Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135.

  • Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman Set: From Monday, June 29 through Tuesday, Aug. 4, we are in production for our award-winning PBS children's program Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman. While "Studio G" will be set up in our Calderwood Studio, we cannot guarantee that it will be a stop on every tour this summer. We will make every effort to show the Fetch! set on as many tours as possible, but when the cameras are rolling this studio will, unfortunately, be unavailable for tours.

Fortunately, the Calderwood Studio is just one part of the WGBH tour. There's plenty more to see, so we hope you'll join us on a studio tour soon!

  • Walk–In Public Tour: Wednesday at 2pm, and the first and third Saturday at 2pm
Please note: There will be no public tours on Saturday, June 20, Wednesday, June 24, Saturday, June 28, and Saturday, July 4.
No need to sign up in advance. The 45–minute tour begins in the Metcalf Lobby at One Guest Street at 2pm.

  • Group Tour: Tuesday–Thursday, 11am
Please note: There will be no tours Tuesday, June 23–Thursday, June 24.
For parties of 6–30 adults, please fill out our Group Tour Request form. Reservations are required at least four weeks in advance. Confirmations are sent by email.

  • High School Group Tour: Tuesday–Thursday, 11am
Reservations are required four weeks in advance for a maximum of 30 students per tour (one chaperone per 10 students, please). Please fill out our Group Tour Request form. Confirmations are sent by email.

  • Go Green! Group Tour: Take an exciting, environmentally themed tour of our LEED-certified Brighton studios, culminating with a visit to our Green Roof (weather permitting). Tours are available for parties of 6-30 adults or high school students. Please fill out our Group Tour Request form and mark the Go Green! box. Reservations are required at least four weeks in advance. Confirmations are sent by email.

  • Elementary and Middle School Group Tours
We are not currently scheduling children's tours but would be pleased to contact you once we begin. Please email studiotours@wgbh.org with your name, school/troup name, and number of students and you will be contacted with more information once tours are available. Due to limited studio space, groups are limited to a maximum of 30 students (minimum of one chaperone per 10 students, please).
