Skinner Wine Auction in partnership with WGBH

Be it a bordeaux...a cabernet...or a vintage port...satisfy your taste in wine at the Skinner Auction House in Boston on Tuesday, Nov. 2.  The auction will feature some of the finest wines from vineyards around the world, for both the casual collector and the discriminating connoisseur.

New this year, WGBH will be auctioning 400 bottles from its wine cellar. All proceeds from the sale of WGBH wine will support WGBH programming.

On the WGBH block will be:

  • Chateau Cheval Blanc (Avery) 1959

  • Chateau Montrose 1990

  • Chateau Pichon Longueville Baron 1990. A remarkable vintage for Pichon Longueville Baron, 1990 is one of the estate’s two or three finest wines made in the last 40 years.

  • Mystery! — The world’s finest, strongest, classic wines, as embodied by Mystery!’s iconic sleuths.

  • The World — Map the world through historic wine regions and experience the virtuosity of the world’s finest wine producers.

WGBH and Skinner invite the WGBH community to learn more about fine wines up for auction. Join them in their Boston gallery on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 4pm at 63 Park Plaza, Boston. All Skinner auctions are open to the public and there's never a charge to attend.
