Opera Lovers' Weekend in Sarasota, Fla.

Join classical music radio host Ron Della Chiesa (left) and WGBH LearningTours on an unforgettable long-weekend getaway to Florida's "Culture Coast."
Experience front–orchestra seats for five performances by the Sarasota Opera Company. Enjoy beloved operas including Pagliacci and Don Giovanni, then go backstage for a reception with conductor Victor DeRenzi and several cast members.
 Sarasota's exquisite John and Mable Ringling Museum will be opened specially for us, as will several galleries in the sophisticated Towles Court Artist Colony.
Pictured left is the Cà d'Zan mansion, one of the three museums at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. We'll also enjoy a musical farewell dinner including a serenade by Sarasota's celebrated choral ensemble, Gloria Musicae.
There will be time for strolling, shopping, and simply enjoying fabulous Sarasota sunsets from our beach resort hotel on the Gulf of Mexico.
