Winifred Lenihan
Vice President for Development
"Building a relationship with WGBH's most generous donors is a true joy, and seeing first-hand the talent and creativity their commitment makes possible never fails to thrill me."
More than two decades at WGBH give Win Lenihan a thorough
understanding of the institution and appreciation of our most
dedicated supporters. A nationally respected development
professional, she has led WGBH through three successful capital
campaigns, including the Breaking New Ground Campaign that
garnered more than $61 million from supporters across New
England, fueling WGBH's move to its new studios in Brighton and
enabling innovative initiatives to be launched there.
Ellen Frank
Director of Major Gifts
"I know the value WGBH brings to my life and the lives of my young children. I love hearing what inspires our donors to give, and sharing their pleasure at the programs they make possible."
Ellen Frank's long and varied development career (at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, New York public broadcaster WSKG, and in higher education) is invaluable to helping WGBH donors make a gift that has longterm impact. And her MBA gives her a solid financial grounding.
Mary Moran
Director of Planned Giving and Endowment
"My legal background affords me a real appreciation of the financial benefits of planned giving. It helps me work with donors to recommend what makes sense for their personal situation and to structure their gifts accordingly."
A graduate of Georgetown Law School, Mary Moran offers a unique background that combines development expertise (in higher education) with hands-on legal experience (five years as a practicing estate planning attorney with Boston's Palmer & Dodge).
Zena Lum
Director, Ralph Lowell Society
"WGBH truly is a visionary enterprise, and I am grateful to be
working with donors who not only helped create the legacy of
public broadcasting, but are now crafting its future."
Zena Lum joined WGBH in 2002 with smarts, experience, and a
passion for public broadcasting. Prior to leading the annual
giving program within WGBH's Major Gifts team, Zena was senior
director of development and communications
at Jumpstart for Young Children, a nonprofit that prepares
struggling preschoolers for school readiness. She also worked
in development at New England Aquarium and the Museum of
Science, Boston.
