Boston Neighborhoods Photo Contest Winners
WGBH received more mouth-dropping submissions for our June digital mural photo contest. It was a tough decision, but our photo contest judges chose the following three winners.

Winning photographs will appear on the WGBH digital mural on Saturday, July 31, 2010.

Congratulations to the winners! Thanks to all who participated — and be sure to enter WGBH's July Photo Contest. This month's theme is outdoor celebrations.

The "Lexington Minuteman Statue." (Actually a militia member) Located in the center of Lexington, this statue was erected in 1900, and was sculpted by Massachusetts artist Henry Hudson Kitson.

You may not have noticed, but last week I posted on the Official Rules page that the judges decision for the June Boston Neighborhoods photo contest will be posted later this week ... 1 WHERE IS YOUR POSTING ON THE OFFICIAL RULES PAGE ? I COULD NEVER FIND IT. 2 WHAT DOES LATER THIS WEEK written on 07.06 MEAN TO YOU ? TODAY IS THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK !!! ... There was a delay due to vacations... BELIEVE IT OR NOT I AND I BET MANY OF THE OTHER CONTESTANTS WAS TOTALLY AWARE OF THAT FACT. ... So we WE ?!? have just a couple more days THERE IS THAT WONDERFULLY VAGUE A COUPLE OF DAYS AGAIN !! ! to wait for the verdicts. I am eagerly anticipating the results too! YOU ARE ? WHY? DID YOU ENTER THE CONTEST ?... AS A MEMBER OF THE P IN PBS, I HOPE THAT THE REST OF WGBH IS BETTER RUN THAN THIS CONTEST ! Thanks everyone for your patience about the June contest decisions. You may not have noticed, but last week I posted on the Official Rules page that the judges decision for the June Boston Neighborhoods photo contest will be posted later this week. There was a delay due to vacations. So we have just a couple more days to wait for the verdicts. I am eagerly anticipating the results too! Thanks again for your continued patience. Kyanna
