Boston Symphony Orchestra
More than 50 years ago, WGBH 89.7 hit the airwaves for the first time with a broadcast of the Boston Symphony Orchestra performing at Symphony Hall.
 During July and August, WGBH SymphonyCast goes to Tanglewood, in Lenox, Mass., the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. WGBH 89.7 broadcasts concerts performed by the BSO as well as other outstanding American orchestras. Hosted by Ron Della Chiesa, this favorite seasonal series features some of the world's top soloists and conductors.
The BSO broadcasts are produced by Brian Bell. The executive producer is Jon Solins.
