Off The Menu – Eating Local In The Winter: From farmer’s markets to vegetable and seafood co-ops, there is no shortage of options for eating locally-grown foods during the bountiful spring and summer months. But what about during the long New England winters? Is it possible to stay committed to a diet of locally-grown and locally-produced foods in January, February, March? Our resident foodie Corby Kummer says “yes.”

The Great Back Bay Blackout
After a smoky electrical transformer fire knocked out power to about 21,000 homes and businesses, sections of the neighborhood are getting back online. But problems are expected to persist into tonight. We’ll have the latest.
