Special Coverage Of Tucson Shooting Rampage

Special Coverage Of Tucson Shooting Rampage: Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is still in critical condition but is reportedly “holding her own” after being shot in the head at close range on Saturday as she met with constituents in Tucson, AZ. Six people, including a federal judge, died in the shooting rampage. The 22-year-old suspect – who is apparently not cooperating with officials – is due in federal court today. House speaker John Boehner has postponed all legislative activity for the week and has ordered security reviews for all members of the house. Now questions are swirling about whether the highly-charged and “vitriolic” American political climate is to blame? Among others, we’ll check in with members of the Massachusetts congressional delegation and Mary Vriniotis, research Specialist at the Harvard School of Public Health, who has co-authored several manuscripts on firearms research in the U.S.
