Betty and Bish: Vocalist Betty Roche (b. 1/9/1920) sang with Duke Ellington in the 1940s and early 1950s. She made three recordings on her own after that but then faded out of sight.

Pianist Walter Bishop, Jr. (b. 1/9/1905) was part of the New York bebop scene. He recorded with Charlie Parker.
