Cape Wind: First Gubernatorial Issues Debate

The controversy over the Cape Wind project has become an issue of statewide and national importance. The plan to put 130 wind turbines in the middle of Nantucket Sound has generated ten years of fierce debate over the definition of environmental responsibility and the future of renewable energy. The four candidates for governor this year Democrat incumbent Deval Patrick, Republican Charles Baker, Independent Tim Cahill and Green Party candidate Jill Stein debated the issue of Cape Wind and other environmental issues in this one hour debate Monday afternoon August 16, 2010.
