To all the MI-5 fans, thanks so much for your passion and feedback! We appreciate that some of our viewers may have limited access toWGBH 44 and, in response to your comments, we’ve been working hard to add MI-5 back into the WGBH 2 line-up, so everyone can continue to watch and enjoy this great drama series.
From October 27, we will be introducing a simplified schedule for MI-5 on WGBH 2 and WGBH 44. Beginning with Season 7, MI-5 will air every Wednesday at 9pm on WGBH 44, and that same episode will be repeated on WGBH 2 the following Friday at 10pm.
As you are aware, our programs are sometimes interrupted so that we can fundraise. But we also understand the disruption that fundraising can cause to ongoing drama series. So, just as we did this summer with Masterpiece Mystery!, it’s our goal offer MI-5without interruptions for the remainder of 2010.
Please note there will be a short break in MI-5 around the Holidays. More details will follow later in the year about the 2011 Season 8 line-up – please come back and check this page for updates throughout the Fall.
We trust that this new arrangement addresses the concerns of many MI-5 fans and we hope that you will continue to watch this superb drama and that you’ll consider supporting the programs you love on WGBH.
