Food Trip with Todd English
Chef Todd English takes viewers on the road and behind the scenes as he travels the globe collecting culinary ideas and inspiration. In each exotic location, he taps local food experts who teach him about local food customs and best bets for culture off the beaten path. He concludes each episode by inviting viewers into his own Boston-area kitchen to demonstrate how the world’s rich flavors and techniques inspire him to reinvent traditional cuisine. The current season of Food Trip begins in Tuscany, where Todd experiences all things medieval — from exploring a castle to tasting a medieval lampredotto sandwich. The season goes on to follow Todd as he draws inspiration from the native flavors and ingredients of locales such as Peru, Thailand, and South Africa.
