MIT Bets Big On Big Data
Today alone, humans will generate more than 2 quintillion bytes of data. How much is that? Well, a billion has nine zeroes. A quintillion has 18. Perhaps that explains why MIT – and the state – are betting big on big data. We talk with the man behind MIT’s new bigdata@CSAIL initiative.
