Prostate Screening: Just Skip It
That’s the message a federal advisory panel just sent to men of all ages about a simple blood test for prostate cancer. The panel just gave the PSA test a D-rating, which basically means that the test has no net benefit and that the harm could outweigh the benefit. One doctor explains why the test could do more harm than good.
