Week In Review
WIR Panel 0302Will Super Tuesday be the super end to Mitt Romney’s long quest to secure the Republican nomination? Not if his opponents have anything to do with it. As a beleaguered Newt Gingrich looks to Georgia to fuel his comeback, Rick Santorum is nipping at Romney’s heels. But does close count? On today’s show, a round-up of this week’s top news headlines. From Olympia Snowe’s announcement that she won’t seek another senate term, to Bob Kerry’s revelation that he will, we look at the state of the partisan balance of power this election year. And the untimely death of a devilish pundit. Plus, tragedies in the ranks of North Shore law enforcement and at a high school in Ohio. And – of course – thumbs up, thumbs down on requiring cameras on the back of your car and much more.

Guests:
 Joanna Weiss, Boston Globe columnist
 David Guarino, Melwood Global
R.B. Scott, author of Mitt Romney: An Inside Look at the Man and His Politics

The Baffler Is Back
The self-described “journal that blunts the cutting edge” is back in print after a two-year hiatus. The Baffler’s latest issue of scathing media, political and cultural criticism hits newsstands tomorrow. And no cow is sacred. (Not even the one that pays its bills).

Guests:
John Summers, editor of The Baffler
Thomas Frank, journalist and author of books like What’s The Matter With Kansas? and most recently, Pity The Billionaire. Founding editor of The Baffler
