Study: Gambling Revenue Promises Often Overly Ambitious
An expanded gambling bill was passed here in Massachusetts last fall amid projections of hundreds of millions ofdollars in added annual revenue. But, a new study of states that have legalized gambling in some form over the past decade, finds that two-thirds of them failed to live up to their ambitious revenue promises.
