Live Performance By Hallelujah The Hills’ Ryan Walsh
The members of the band Hallelujah the Hills have been making music for most of their lives, and records for the past five years. When guest host Steve Almond got a hold of their debut record, Collective Psychosis Begone, some years back, he was captivated by the band’s strange blend of the dreamy and down home, and by the beautifully odd lyrics of songwriter Ryan Walsh. The band went on to release two more albums, and they’ve toured the country more times than they’d probably want to remember. Lucky for us, they always have to come home to the Boston Area, and so we’re delighted to have Ryan Walsh, along with his stand-up bassist, Nick Ward, here today to do a live studio performance.
