Republican Voter Seeks Answers From Sen. Brown
Americans are sick of partisan bickering in Washington. Both Republicans and Democrats report feeling suspicious of politicians – worried that they may be more concerned about winning the next election than making government work for their constituents. One such American is Charles Fried, a professor at Harvard Law School, who served as US solicitor general under President Reagan and is a former justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In an op-ed in yesterday’s Boston Globe, Fried – a Republican – laid out his dilemma, using Scott Brown's upcoming senate race as an example.
