"The Interrogator: An Education"
Back in the early 2000’s, CIA operative Glenn Carle was tapped for TDY – a ubiquitous CIA acronym for temporary duty, which could mean anything from three days to three years. Carle’s assignment took him deep into the war against terror and face to face with a man the CIA believed was a top-level Al Qaeda leader. Glenn Carle was a member of the CIA’s Clandestine Service for 23 years and retired in 2007. His new book, heavily redacted by the CIA, “The Interrogator: An Education,” provides an intriguing look not only into the psychology of the CIA’s methods, but also into the Global War on Terror.
