In our new regular Monday morning feature, we take closer look at some of the political headlines dominating this weekend’s news cycle – including the resignation of former State Senator Jarrett Barrios who has been executive director of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Turns out, some GLAAD members were none too happy with Barrios’ endorsement of a merger deal between AT&T and T-Mobile. We’ll also discuss the Mormon Church’s efforts to combat anti-Mormon sentiment in the U.S. and the gambling debate that is very much alive and well – albeit behind closed doors – on Beacon Hill. Our political pundits Michael Goldman and Marjorie Clapprood are here.
