For years, we’ve heard that cyberspace would be the battlefield of the future. But in recent weeks, a rash of cyberattacks on the likes of Sony, Lockheed Martin, and Google point to an unsettling fact: That future is now and we might not be ready for it. So how worried should we be about the prospect of a full-on cyberwar? And will disputes that are emerging among officials about how to characterize these threats hurt our ability to prepare for future cyberattacks?
