Social Studies – Changing Jobs
It’s been a few years now since the “Great Recession” wreaked havoc on the job market. And with unemployment rates still hovering around 9%, whether you are a recent college graduate or a mid-career employee looking to take a step in a new direction, it is still pretty tough out there. But despite the economic conditions, we still live in a world where the average person will switch jobs upwards of 10 times during their career. And while they are perhaps inevitable, job moves are seldom easy, nearly always emotionally fraught and something not everybody pulls off quite as well as they could. Our Social Studies guru Robin Abrahams joins us with some helpful advice on this front.
