The James Beard Foundation Awards have been called the Oscars of the food world. Last week, the country’s best and brightest chefs, restaurateurs and food writers descended on New York City for a chef-studded evening on the green carpet. Our resident foodie, Corby Kummer – who was also nominated this year for his writing – was there as well and here joins us to dish about the big event and tell us about a few of his favorite new restaurants as we look ahead to Summer.
