Guzzle Less Gas this Summer
Gas is expensive right now, hovering around $4 a gallon. That is more than a dollar higher than prices were at this time last year. And while some analysts are predicting that gas prices have hit their peak, and will even begin to drop, they warn that the process will be slow. So do high gas prices mean you’ll have to forego a few weekend trips to the Cape, or to Lake George, or to the White Mountains? The New York Times’ practical traveler, Michelle Higgins says, maybe not.
