Political Round-Up – Twitter In 2012, DiMasi Trial & More
In our media-obsessed culture, the latest technology has become inextricably linked to successful political campaigns. Just as JFK used television to secure his advantage in the 1960 presidential race, it’s widely believed that President Barack Obama’s victory in 2008 was due – at least in part – to a groundswell of support among the so-called “Facebook generation.” To be politically viable in this day and age – campaigns need to be masters of Web Blitzkrieg – everything from social networking sites, podcasting, mobile messaging, and more. We’ll look at how twitter – which was barely even a factor in 2008 – will change the game in 2012. To expand upon that – and lots more – we’re joined by Garrett Quinn, who is the author of the ‘Less is More’ blog on Boston.com and by Blue Mass Group co-founder David Kravitz.
