Ask The Professor – Boston Archeology
Walk along the streets of Boston and there is plenty to see: Majestic buildings, statues of revolutionary heroes, bustling passersby. But hidden deep below your feet, are the secrets of Boston’s past, waiting to be discovered—from clay fish weirs used by native Americans thousands of years ago, to wig curlers used by colonial residents. BU Archeology Professor Mary Beaudry is one of the people out there, unlocking those secrets for us and she joins us for the debut of our new regular feature—Ask the Professor.
