Frontline Goes Inside The Muslim Brotherhood
The Muslim Brotherhood is Egypt’s most well-organized and powerful opposition group. With President Hosni Mubarak out and a new fight for power in Egypt taking shape, this controversial but poorly understood Islamist political movement is poised to assume a much larger role in Egypt’s future. Charles Sennott is the Executive Editor and Vice President of the international news site GlobalPost. He was on the ground in Cairo until yesterday, examining the Muslim Brotherhood for PBS’s Frontline. His hard look at this organization will air as part of Frontline’s “Revolution in Cairo” next week on WGBH 2 and other PBS Stations across the country.
