Special Election To Replace Chuck Turner
This morning voters in Boston’s 7th district will whittle a field of seven candidates to two in a special election to replace disgraced councilor Chuck Turner, convicted of bribery and about to face a three year federal prison sentence. So far, not too many people have appeared at the polls. By 9:30 this morning just .1% of eligible voters had voted. Joining us is WGBH’s Phil Martin, who has been out in the district this morning.
