Jury Rules “No Crime” In Danroy Henry Case

Jury Rules “No Crime” In Danroy Henry Case
Henry Family It’s a story that the parent of Danroy "DJ" Henry, Jr. will not let go away. In the early morning hours of last October 17th, DJ was shot to death outside a bar at a shopping center in Mount Pleasant, NY by a police officer who had come to the scene in response to a fight that had broken out in the bar. Those are the only facts anyone can agree upon. Police say DJ aggressively moved his car in response to a police officer’s order and tried to run two cops over. Other witnesses and DJ’s family believe he was shot in the head as he tried to move the car. Now a New York grand jury has failed to indict the police involved and the US Justice Department says it will conduct its own investigation to determine if there were any violations of the federal civil rights laws.  We sit down with DJ’s parents, Danroy Henry, Sr. and Angela Henry.
