We sit down with Jennifer Coolidge, one of the most original and most versatile character actresses working today. She is perhaps best know for her iconic performance as “Stifler’s Mom” in the American Pie films and a hilarious turn in Christopher Guest’s celebrated mock-u-mentary Best in Show. But it was on the stage that Coolidge developed her trademark vanity-free, no-hold-barred comedic style as a longtime member of the legendary LA improv troupe, The Groundlings. And she returns to the stage this weekend at the Wilbur Theater right here in her hometown of Boston.
